At CGPen you can sell all kinds of 2D and 3D art products that you see fit for the creative industry.
How can I become a creator/contributor at CGPen?
You can become a creator by signing up and registering yourself at the CGPen website. After registration, your application and the product is reviewed by our team. If your work meets all our policy standard then we will get back in touch with you.
Why isn’t my product live yet?
Our team manually reviews each and every single product we receive on our website. Sometimes there are a lot of application at our hands and hence the delay. You don’t have to worry about that. You can also see whether you have submitted your product for review or not.
My application was declined?
There may be a variety of reasons for the declination of a application. Firstly, your product should meet all our policy standards. Secondly, it should have a proper description. Thirdly, the images of the product that share should be clear enough and not cut from any angle. Good presentation skills matters! Your products should be of good quality as well to fit in the marketplace. If you’re still not satisfied with all the information, you can always contact us for more details regarding this.

How do I submit a product?
You can only submit a product to CGPen after successful approval of your account by the admin at CGPen. Once submitted, your product will be reviewed by our team and if approved then it will be available for publishing. Do remember that your product should fulfil all the uploading guidelines as well. If they are not fulfilled then your product will be disapproved.
What is the minimum product price?
You can sell your product for free if you wish to, but we recommend a minimum charge of at least $ 1 for a particular product.
How much shall I charge for my product?
Well this totally depends on you. It also depends on your product too. Also, you can check the prices of similar products available at CGPen by the several competitors and then decide the price of your product.
What to do if you’re having some trouble uploading product?
Well we regret all the inconvenience. If you are having trouble uploading your product then you can contact our team as soon as possible we will try to solve your problem right away. You can also write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org describing your issue and the problems that you are facing. You can also attach the screenshots, if needed, for a better understanding of your problem. You can also provide other needful details like type of browser, etc.
- How do I submit a product?
Payouts and Earnings
Every transaction at CGPen will have $0.50 fees. This is to ensure the products are not priced too low and also it helps with the costs of running CGPen.
When do I get paid?
We pay always when you earn at least $100 in your earning account, and we release always on 15th of every month into your paypal account.
How much does the creator earn per sale?
You can earn up to 75% of the amount of the product per sale at CGPen.
Where does the creator gets paid?
You will get paid into your PayPal account on the 15th of every month, based on the earnings of the previous month.
How do I issue a refund?
If you think the customer should receive a refund, please contact us within 14 days from the sale of your product. The refunded sum will be withdrawn from your future earnings. As of now, there is no way to issue a refund yourself. When you will log in, you will be able to see the total refunded dollar amount in your Earnings and Payouts page.
How do I check my sales?
You can check the sales of your store by going and clicking on Earnings and Payouts section on CGPen website, once logged in.
How can I close my store?
You can contact us so that if we can close the store for you. Although we would really like to know what went wrong that you are taking this step.
How do I change my Payout details?
Once you are logged in your account, you can change your PayPal email by clicking on store settings.

How can a customer contact me?
A customer will be able to contact you via the contact form on your store page, which will in turn be linked to your email.
How to handle a bad review from a customer?
Getting a bad review from a customer is not a good thing but you should always appreciate feedbacks from customers in whichever way possible. You should work in the direction of making that bad review into a good one.
Analyse the review and see whether it’s subjective or the customer is facing a technical issue.
If it’s a technical issue, fix it right away and let your customer know that their issue has been resolved. You can also ask them in a polite manner if they would like to change their review.
If it’s a subjective review, reply to the customer in a polite manner and tell them that you appreciate their feedback. You can also let them know that you will consider this feedback and keep it in your mind in the future.
